Hello everyone, welcome to today's special report. In our efforts to promote local economic development and technological advancement, CPP 1 has launched an international welding training program at Arusha Technical College in Tanzania. The significant program opens a gateway for local welders to enhance their professional skills. Now, Let's learn more about it.

On July 2nd, East African Crude Oil pipeline Project (EACOP) launched an international welder training program at Arusha Technical College in Tanzania. The program aims to elevate the professional skills of local welders and bring new vitality to the pipeline welding for the EACOP project.

7月2日，东非原油输出管道项目部在坦桑尼亚阿鲁沙技术学院启动国际焊工培训，旨在提高本地焊工的专业能力，为东非石油输出管道项目的管道焊接技术注入新的活力。

The training has drawn welders from along the route of EACOP, including welding "veterans" with extensive experience in the field. The EACOP Project maintains high standards, while most local welders, who have only received basic training in small-scale welding environments, have limited knowledge of the automated welding techniques essential for large-scale pipeline projects like EACOP.

这次培训吸引了来自东非石油输出管道项目管道沿线的焊工，包括有多年焊接经验的“老手”。东非石油输出管道项目标准高，大部分本地焊工只接受过小焊接场所的基础培训，对大型管道项目中的自动焊接技术了解不够。

To ensure the quality of the training, the project team conducted thorough preparation, including detailed assessments and selection processes. Through online interviews and on -site evaluation, 25 welders were chosen for the program. The training team consists of international welding experts and experienced welding technicians from the company, employing a combination of theoretical instruction practice practical exercises to provide comprehensive and in-depth training.

为了保证培训质量，东非原油输出管道项目部提前做好了详细的人员安排和培训准备工作，通过网上面试和现场评估筛选出25名焊工。焊接培训团队由国际焊接专家和有经验的焊接技术人员组成，选择理论与实践相结合的方式，为焊工提供全面深入的培训。

The six-week training is divided into two stages. The first stage focuses on theoretical knowledge and basic skills development. The second stage enhances practical operations and simulation drills, ensuring that local welders master various welding techniques and adhere to standard protocols.

这次培训持续了六个星期，分为两个阶段。第一阶段侧重于理论知识的讲解和基本技能的训练；第二阶段增加实际操作和模拟演练，确保本地焊工能够灵活运用各种焊接技术和标准规范。

Throughout the training, the public relationship department actively engages with local welders, addressing their questions and concerns. They also provided detailed information about CPP, project background, work conditions and career development opportunities,offering clear pathways for the welders’ career planning and growth.

在培训过程中，东非石油输出管道项目公关部门积极与当地焊工沟通，及时回答他们在学习和工作中遇到的问题和困惑，详细介绍了管道局、公司和项目背景、工作待遇和职业发展路径，为焊工提供了明确的职业规划和发展方向。

The welder training program of EACOP project not only introduces advanced welding technologies and concepts to Tanzania, but also offers local welders valuable opportunities to enhance welding skills and advance their careers. It significantly contributes to the economic and social development of the East African region.
